Reality TV Trifecta, Estates of the Day

I couldn't resist the chance to feature three reality television show houses that were all in today's real estate round-up. All three were part of the subgenre of reality television in which the semi-famous or formerly famous seek a bit more fame through having their lives filmed. For those interested in real estate snooping it's often a chance to eavesdrop on some pretty interesting homes. Today's batch brings us Hulk Hogan's house in Miami, the home of Danny Bonaduce and the home that Miss Victoria Beckham recently pranced through during her reality TV special. Plenty of pics after the jump.
First up, the Miami home of Hulk Hogan. Perez Hilton reported that the home hit the market this week. The Hulkster was, of course, the most famous wrestler of the 1980s, who parlayed his wrestling fame into a few very bad movies. Hogan, unlike some wrestlers, socked away quite a bit of money during his days in the squared circle.
Most recently, Hogan has become famous again as the gruff dad of the Hogan family in his reality TV show 'Hogan Knows Best' in which he stars with his singer daughter, Brooke, son Nick and wife Linda. The first season started off in the family's French-country style home in Belleair, Florida which has also been on and off the market. You can check out the pictures here. The family moved to Miami Beach and into this home. It was quite a shift. This home is gorgeous but completely lacking in warmth. The home is huge, over 17,000 square feet, with six bedrooms, guest apartments, and all sort of dramatic water features. It has a cabana, a rooftop terrace, all sorts of bells and whistles. It's a stunning home but it always seemed a bit wrong for the Hogans in my opinion because it lacks a sense of the comfortable. It is listed at $18.9 million.

Next up, the home of Danny and Gretchen Bonaduce. This home, their Spanish-style mansion, was shown in their reality TV show, "Breaking Bonaduce," a rather startling look into their domestic life. The couple is divorcing, a subject which Bonaduce discusses endlessly on his radio gig on the Adam Carolla morning show. This home is a four-bedroom house built in 1926 by architect Harry Hayden Whiteley. Celebrity Big Time Listings reports that the couple bought the home in 2005 for $2.6 million. There is some stuff to love here, a delightful sweeping staircase and a giant rotunda, gorgeous archways and what looks to be vintage tile. But as the Real Estalker Mama points out, the home theater is truly terrifying, the very worst cliche with black leather seats and seedy red curtains. The Bonaduces are listing at $4.5 million.

The last home is a recent reality TV home. This architectural stunner played a role in the recent Victoria Beckham television special. Ms. Posh rented this home while she was house hunting in Los Angeles and there were plenty of shots of her lounging around by the pool in her spike heels. It seems she may not have actually stayed in the house. The Real Estalker Mama says she may have spent that time in a hotel room.
The home, is, as she would say, major. A Beverly Hills Post Office beauty with amazing views. At around 7,000 square feet it's probably not enough room for Posh and Becks, their brood and their entourage. The family is happily ensconced in a Moroccan fantasia in Beverly Hills, a home that is very different from this one. This one has me swooning with the huge walls of glass facing the infinity pool also have a glass fireplace that appears to hover in midair. The home includes all the celeb-friendly delights such as a screening room, wine room and two master suites. It is listed at $8.995 million.
