Pilar Olaverri Jewelry
The jewelry of Pilar Olaverri has a sculptural quality which is no surprise since she is a sculptor as well as a jewelry designer. Her bracelets and necklaces are open forearm cages and wraps of silver, leather and wood. Her silver cuffs are a little Wonder Woman-like but that's part of the charm, they make you feel invincible. The necklaces have an architectural look similar to Frank Gehry's works for Tiffany but as if perhaps Richard Meier had designed them instead.
