The Top 10 Richest Models in the World

So we all know models make a lot of money, but do you know just how much? And if you had to guess which one was making the most money right now who would you pick? I just love the lists Forbes comes up with, and here's another great one of the world's top earning models. Its list has a total of 15 of the wealthiest models, and I've included the top 10 here:
- Gisele Bundchen: $33 million
- Kate Moss: $9 million
- Heidi Klum: $8 million
- Adriana Lima: $6 million
- Allessandra Ambrosio: $6 million
- Carolyn Murphy: $5 million
- Natalia Vodianova: $4.5 million
- Karolina Kurkova: $3.5 million
- Daria Werbowy: $3.5 million
- Gemma Ward: $3 million

Not Kate - Just one is American - Carolyn Murphy. To Dan - as far as our country supporting this alone that's hardly the case. They earn their money all over the world. it really doesn't speak for values of our country.

Giselle and lots of others on this list are in the highly-ugly category...except Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkova and Carolyn Murphy.
Giselle needs to exit - NEXT!! Additionally, Leticia Casta should MOST DEF be on this list...she can kick Giselle's non-existent butt any day!

Stop bashing these girls. We all would do the same thing if we had their looks and bodies. Do you think that modeling is that easy of a job? And how do you know that they don't donate to charity ha ha? And the only person I heard about spending $3000 on a dog isn't on this list. And #1 what do you mean Gisele isn't worth that much? Everywhere you turn you see her face on magazine covers or filling up the pages of catalogs. And she endorses several products.

Look at all the very hard working people that have to work outside in the heat so we can have a roof over or head. I think movie stars are way over paid also. But that's America

I've read all the comments on here, and there are a lot of good points from all angles. It does suck to not make millions of dollars doing what we do and they are, doing what they do. But face it- most of us, if we had their bodies, and their looks, we would choose to model for that amount of $$ just like they do. I myself have modeled- of course not as extensively and I didn't get paid even close to the amount that they do, obviously, and it does seem fun at times, but modeling is definitely hard work. There are so many things you can not do, restrictions on your life, constantly on the go, having no provacy, having to get used to changing in front of others at the drop of a hat, EXTREMELY fast paced, watching what you eat, restrictions on having a baby,

I've read all the comments on here, and there are a lot of good points from all angles. It does suck to not make millions of dollars doing what we do and they are, doing what they do. But face it- most of us, if we had their bodies, and their looks, we would choose to model for that amount of $$ just like they do. I have a crappy under-paying job, but what am I doing about it?- Using it as a temporary position while going through a wide variety of new things to better myself for something in the future, not being able to pay for school as of this moment- but I can still get by.I myself have modeled- of course not as extensively and I didn't get paid even close to the amount that they do, obviously, and it does seem like it is all fun & games, but modeling is definitely hard work. There are so many things you can not do, restrictions on your life, constantly on the go, having no privacy, having to get used to changing in front of others at the drop of a hat, EXTREMELY fast paced, watching what you eat, restrictions on having a baby, not even having the time to go back to school, let alone see family and so much more. You have to understand that most of these women have given up most of their normal every day lives to do this. Think...when do you think they see their families, or how often? Giselle and Adriana's families mainly all live back in Brazil. They give up everything in their life and what they do for a living comes first- literally. I do believe that $33 million is a bit much but taking away someone's life for the pleasure of others comes at a high price whether it is money or death- "exposure to drugs" and extreme pressure- most have no idea. So take it easy every one- I'm sure a lot who have commented like to read some type of magazine- and EVERY magazine has someone who seems over paid in it...but we still read on now don't we?- My book is over, have a nice day! k, i think the people who's comments are negative to the models are really stupid. modeling takes guts and it is a lot of hard work--have you ever watched America's Next Top Model?! those girls are hard core and sometimes they have to put up w/ a lot of crap.. to have people say that they aren't worth that kind of money is sad and wrong. those women are beautiful and modeling is obviously what they love to do.. i would like to get paid that much for what i would like to do!! shame to all of you who are so negative.

Is Gisele Bundchen worth $33 million per year?
Does she bring $33 million dollars worth of value to the world?
The simple truth is YES.
Not because she has made this a better world, but because her images have made the companies that use her, far more than $33 Million dollars.
If you can bring revenues into a company, you are entitled to a percentage of the wealth you created.
Be it a Football player, Rock-star, Movie-star, or salesperson; bring in revenue, get paid.
The more Money you bring in, the more money you should be paid.
In an earlier comment one of the posters said "one would think they found a cure for cancer. this speaks for the values of this country!"
1. A company that finds a cure for cancer will earn BILLIONS from that breakthrough.
2. This country, in this regard, is no different that any other country. France, Germany, Canada, Japan, Italy all pay homage to models.
What country does not..... And would you want to live in that country?

#8. And how would you know what she spends her money on and whether she gives her money or her TIME to charity.
A general comment: It is really interesting what kind of posts people write to these kinds of blogs. All kinds of assumptions and comments: rude, uninformed, supposition, often gross and foul; and I really have to wonder where the emotion comes from. If you have somehing intelligent to say I can understand that, otherwise does it make people feel important in their otherwise dreary lives to make those kind of posts. 'just sayin'.
I think what you do and earn in many cases is a matter of where you are at the right or wrong time and how much energy and smarts you are willing to expend. Not everything requires a college degree. There are a lot of inconsistencies in life and on the forums. Reading the other posts before you respond and knowing the situation may help.

What do you mean, "...worth that much". Just like every one of us, she's worth every dime she can get. Sure looks and appeal are vital to these models, but the most important thing is a great agent who can develop a winning marketing plan for the individual.
Since there is an unlimited amount of wealth on this planet, each of us are capable of earning as much of it as we can.
The idea that one person has wealth at the expense of another is one of the tenets of socialism. It has been proven wrong an uncountable number of times, but liberals and others who get their power through stealing from some and giving it to others continue to sell this idea to the less educated among us.....That's steal 100%, keep 70% for yourself, and give 30% to others. Hmmmmm, sounds like a government bureaucracy to me...........

Those girls work very hard ,and are very smart, there a lot of models in the fashion industry and they are the best one,i work with Allesandra Ambrasio she is a great model and very nice girl also.
They are not just pretty girls. and it is not alway easy to look pretty in front of the camera when you work bt 12 to 16 hours a days and you have to take plane to start the same but in Paris, and go back to NY.Sometime they going over see 2 or 3 time a week with no rest.
But it is good money, but for a very short time.
Silvia Jul 23rd 2007 11:03PM
she is worth every penny... I am brazilian and we brazilian girls have a sexy/ diferent way to be. Nobody can come up with "the most beautiful model" because everyone has diferent opinion about beaty so the fact that Gisele is the best or prettier shows that more people agree to that... Hey, doesn anyone need another brazilian model out there? call me!
arley Jul 23rd 2007 11:39PM
It is all about the law of supply and demand ... a limited supply of beautiful people and a great demand for their kind ... that is what the free market is all about. If you've got it, flaunt it and make the best of it. After all , it will not last forever ...

Look, asthetically she is appealing to consumers who purchase clothing, based on an older method of customer service: MODELING. Make sense? No? Yes? Ok, in general, first of all personality dosen't sell clothing, sizes do. Facial features draw away from the article of clothing, hers are "everyday unique" to be complementary, as not to disrespect, so they blend with the ambiance and again allow the clothes stand out, making the decision to buy a possibility. Modeling clothing has never been about the models beauty, but about requested measurements, class and edicutte. Please forgive my spelling. Look at her in this photo, she is normal looking, but selling the suit, not selling herself.

It's ironic, because I see women every day (at the gym I work out in) who are drop dead gorgeous, and just as pretty, if not prettier, than Giselle. Yet they're not making millions for it.

These people are part of a multi-billion dollar industry that tells us what is in-style for the moment. These ladies are a clog in the wheel of pure capitalism which we all support to some degree. So, don't be haters. As far as Gisele is concerned, she and her handlers have perfected her brand to make her the 33 million dollar woman. Do I say: "you go girl" or "you're setting a bad example for young women in regard to what constitute our standard of beauty". Whatever the case, pure capitalism is hard at work and that, my friend, is the end all be all for the world we live in today. I was told that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well, there are a lot of us beholden to them. Let's start a magazine and put not so beautiful women and men in it and next year let's see who earned millions. Yeah, right.

Actually most of these girls are not stupid, nor are they drop outs.Giselle was actually suppose to start dental school when she was discovered.
