The award winning design by architect Lewis Bowman (a Cornell University grad) it was perhaps his greatest estate for his wealthiest client, G.L. Ohrstrom. A significant horse enthusiast, Ohrstrom, would part with this home after his divorce (to an equally passionate equestrienne wife) and relocate to The Plains, Virginia.
