No Swimming in this $82,000 Golden Swimsuit

It's hard to find the perfect suit, but this gold weave suit out of Japan is apparently "better than feeling a million diamonds" and "like swimming in gold." Well it's more than "like" swimming in gold -- if you get in the water while wearing this baby you actually are swimming in gold -- the precious metal is woven right into the fabric. Valued at $82,000 the suit goes through a month-long weaving process where gold fibers about the size of a human hair are incorporated into the material. And also available in the same sparkling golden fabric is an even more expensive long dress valued at $243,900.
I wonder if they're scratchy or silky? And an important note from the designers on the swimsuit: it's not meant to go in the water.
What?! ...whatever.

Who's the racist now. There is nothing wrong with being a pale woman. Your just jealous!
Loquanito Romano Jul 16th 2007 11:45PM
Yo,Shaq-a-quacka,I guess we all are now getting out of hand,see what you started? And who's the MORON that suggested that a white person was playing as Shaquanda, to start trouble? That is a typical black racist,NOT A WHITE ONE, pointing fingers to mislead everyone and to create a bigger wave of unnecessary hate.OK,let us get real now-Blacks in America are making BIG money in ALL aspects of society.PLEASE STOP WHINING. And for the record,I hate ALL racists.

IF I HAD BANK AND COULD AFFORD "ALL THAT GOLD" I'D MAKE/DESIGN A FEW EVENING OUTFITS TO GO WITH ALL MY ACCESSORIES. SURE I LOVE GOLD: I DO WEAR A LOT OF GOLD JEWERY AND I THINK IT WOULD LOOK TOO KOOL TO EMPHASIZE A SMART LOOKING OUTFIT WITH 14K GOLD JEWELRY. PLUS I'M WHITE AND DRIVE A BIG LIGHT YELLOW
CADILLAC WITH TRUE SPOKE RIMS AND I STILL LOOK JUST AS GOOD, IF NOT BETTER, THAN YOU "SISTAS!" {SHIT}

Oh this is just what every American needs and wants. Whats with this stupid article? What purpose does this serve?
Loquanito Romano Jul 17th 2007 12:22AM
In closing, I'd just like to say that if not for Shaquanda's #1 comment, we all could have had some nice friendly comments and responses to the original issue: THE GOLD BATHING SUIT!! It's amazing just what ONE narrow minded, uneducated person can accomplish when they don't even set their mind to it. Shaquanda, I want you to get yourself right with GOD, then you'll see what being human is all about.All of this racist stuff, that has literally ruined everything our world is capable of being, MUST CEASE!It all begins with just ONE person if change is to come about. God Bless You all, even you, Shaquanda, especially you.

how many starving children could that feed? How many acres of endangered rainforest could that have preserved? How many malaria vaccines could that have bought? Why don't we put a 1/2 dead malaria infested child in a $82,000 gold swimsuit and see if that is just what he/she has always wanted. Money comes and goes, even BIG money, you only have one life-do something with it.

It's not about swimming, It's about showing off in the near nude with an excuse.

I think Shaquanda was joking...well, I certainly hope so. :)
This article of "clothing" is useless and ugly. I'd prefer a custom made gold and diamond bra, thanks. :)
Personally, I think that if the rich people have enough money to support their lifestyle and families, improve the world around them by helping the third world countries, donating to important charities, and tithing if they are a Christian, and they STILL have money left over, then they have every right to buy useless golden clothing. However, philanthropy is more important than hedonism. If a person is selfish enough to spend allll their money on this, however, they do not deserve to have money in the first place, except for bare necessities (food and water and minimal shelter).
