Dracula's Castle for Sale (Bats Included!)

Some 450,000 people pass through Dracula's castle in Transylvania each year, and now people not only have the chance to see it but also to own it. Prince Vlad the Impaler, the violent warlord who inspired Bram Stoker's "Dracula" character, is rumored to have stayed one night in his family's castle, officially called Bran Castle, back in the 1400s. It's been running as a museum per an agreement with the Romanian government that expires in 2009. The castle went up for sale on Monday, and although it's expected to go for upwards of $135 million it won't be sold to just anybody, as only buyers who "will treat the property and its history with appropriate respect" will be considered. And those who don't mind seeing bats flying around the ramparts at twilight, of course.
Interested? I think I'll pass.

Sweet! If I were Bill Gates, and I'm not, I would buy this castle. Imagine the potential at social gatherings. Donald Trump walks up and sneers, "I just purchased a new hotel in Las Vegas."
To which you respond, "Oh, really? I just purchased a castle from Transylvania...guess which one."

I'll take it however I am around $135 million short. Called the bank they say my Cashflow is a bit short also and I need 40% down on a non owner occupied possibly haunted castle- turns out they have a lending matrix for these things- crazy I know. So I went to Big Joey who owns the local Adult Dancing joint and various other allegedly fully legit business endeavors and he spoted me 5 large on my good name. So I am still a bit short and it turns out the vig is running and my legs will be broken in a few weeks if I don't pay back so who wants to spot me the $135 million and be made a limited partner in Castle Dracula Theme Park, Winery and Wedding Chapel. Romanian Government I know you want in!

FANTASTIC. I've visited the castle and although it needs some serious homely touches, I would definitely snap this baby up if I had the $'s. The bragging rights are endless for a start.

I will probably never have have the money for this heart of a home the love of the designer that he had for this castle was excellent it took a lot of love and heart felt tears to build something this beautiful. I just hope that who ever buys it will truly give back the love that it holds in its walls and the Beauty it gives the scenery around it. this is truly my dream home.
