CAO America picked today, Independence Day, to announce their latest cigar, CAO America. The cigar will make its debut at the upcoming RTDA 75th Annual Convention and International Trade Show in Houston in August. The CAO America will be the first 'Pinstripe' style cigar in CAO's portfolio with two American-grown wrapper leaves: one Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro and one Connecticut Shade. Inside there is a Brazilian binder and 100% ligero filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Italy, U.S.A., and the Dominican Republic. The CAO America will come in 20 count red, white and blue boxes and comes in three shapes: Potomac (5" x 56), the torpedo-shaped Monument (6 1/4" x 54), and Landmark (6" x 60).

That is just SOOOO American. You've got to laugh at that level of patriotism. It's so damn yankee doodle dandy.

Maybe, if they didn't already have the Italia and Brazilia in their line-up. CAO is one of the most innovative brands out there...I can't wait to turn one of these into ash and not because of a Betsy Ross band.
Now back to my Mx2 in progress.

Got to Laugh at that Level of patriotism? Huh? It's the same type of design as the Brazilia and the Italia wrapper.... The double wrapper sounds interesting. Can't wait to try one!

Great cigar. I was lucky enough to find two robusto America's at local cigar shop. Burned nice with a great draw. Not their heaviest like it is advertised. Now I have to wait until I can find some more!!!!
