Sir Anthony Hopkins has joined the ranks of celebrities who paint (a group that includes Tony Bennett, Jane Seymour and Sylvester Stallone among others). Dreamscapes, an exhibition of paintings by Hopkins is currently on display at theMW Gallery in Aspen, Colorado through July 10.
In an article on Artnet, dealer Robert Casterline says the works include abstract landscapes and surrealistic faces. The star began painting a few years ago and
according to icWales, he would rather be painting than acting at this point because there are no more challenges for him in the acting world. The paintings are priced at $4,000-$20,000.

People keep referring to Anthony Hopkins as "Sir". However, that is incorrect since he gave up the title when he became an American citizen. Americans can recive an honorary knighthood but can not be called "Sir".
He used to correct people whenever he went on talk shows but lately I've seen just give a look and keep talking as if to say "I'm too tired to argue the point anymore." Peter O'Toole was asked recently if he was knight and if not, why not. He responded with mock outrage "NO, because I'm Irish!"

Please excuse the typo in the previous comment. That should say "I have currently have more than 70 celebrities listed."

This is to the person who posted the first comment,, Tony has duo citizenship, therefor he is SIR ANthony Hopkins... He tries to get people not to use it because he is a very humble man, not that he is not entitled to the honor.
