Qualia, Australia's New Luxury Resort

Australia's newest luxury resort is Qualia, Qualia is located on the northernmost tip of Hamilton Island with views over to the Whitsunday Islands. The resort is designed by Queensland architect, Chris Beckingham with an Australian look using natural timbers and stone work. Accommodations are in 60 pavilions, some with plunge pools. The ultimate place to stay is The Beach House at Qualia, a two-bedroom home with a private pool that costs $3000AUD per night. The Spa Qualia will have six treatment rooms, a steam room, Swiss shower and relaxation areas. The spa will include a couple of signature treatments: a hot stone massage treatment called Bularri Yarrul using 300 million year old stones harvested from the northern NSW area and an aromatherapy that uses ten Australian handmade blended essential oils as well as a full spa menu. The resort will open in August.
