Would You Pay Paris $1 Million to Teach?

Whether she's doing it by accident or it's all part of some carefully calculated master plan I have no idea, but whatever Paris is doing it's working! She really has built herself an empire, and (gasp) now has the opportunity to teach others how she did it. The Learning Annex has reportedly offered Paris $1 million dollars to teach a 1 hour class called "How to Build Your Brand." That much money puts her behind only Donald Trump ($1.5 mil) in the company's history of paid guest teachers.

I guess here is where 'by accident' or 'carefully calculated' really becomes important -- can you tell us how and why you do what you do, Paris? I'll grab my notebook.

As a real teacher I am totally appalled that anyone would think her advice is worth that much. She was born into what she has. She didn't make her money. I make less than $40,000 a year teaching, and that's with 20 years experience and a Masters degree. The moral fiber of this country is going to hell in a handbasket. The fact that I'm blogging about her proves it!

Paris ought to invest every single million she gets into the John Williams Cotilion because they can actually turn her into a respectable lady. Who would listen to her when she is no better then the filth on my shoe?

I know how she made it by being a Hilton. What is so hard to understand? She wouldn't be anywhere on the radar screen is she wasn't. She's skinny,ugly,and has no talent other than sucking on the flesh pickle.

I agree....there is so much bashing of hot, sexy, blondes: Paris, Lindsey, Jessica Simpson, (Britney is still okay when she keeps her weight down and has hair!). But there is a movement for Dogs like Sara Silverman to be considered hot and sexy and cool and the real hotties are made fun of and called ugly...and usually by women...women are so jealous and bitchy of other pretty girls it is really a shame...why can't they all just make love with each other? The ugly ones like Sara Silverman can be the maides for the pretty girls like Paris!

I agree that Parish Hilton has a behavior problem, but that is part of her success scheme. She stays in the limelight constantly, and gets free advertisement. She has built her success in a similar pattern to the way Madonna built her; on contraversy. Madonna doesn't seem to care what people say about her, as long as they don't stop talking about her. Paris Hilton isn't the first to have pretty risque sex videos as part of her business success. Take a good look at some of Janet Jackson's music videos. And does anyone really believe that the showing of Jackson's breast on tv was an accident? I think it was all part of a publicity stunt, and part trying to divert media attention away from her brother's sexual molestation trial. It sure worked. Look at Politicians, they are forever trying to figure out some way to keep themselves in the limelight. They just can't use any kind of sexual visability to do it, like these kids can. Paris Hilton is just a young woman trying to find her way. Being born into a rich family was just luck. Furthermore, with her already being rich, she really didn't have to build a business at all, in order to have lots of money. With having built a successful business, she has given many people jobs, of which would not have been available, had she not. She is only 26 for God's sake; give her a break. I think the jail time will put her well on her way to stopping the DUIs. Nobody was able to buy her way out of the 23 days in jail; so I'm sure she will think twice before she ends herself back in court again. If she were your daughter, you would want people to give her a break from all the dishing on her. There are many more in Hollywood that have committed much worse offense than Parish did, and they ended up with community service duty, not jail, as she did.

It's sad that we are even blogging about this, but we are!!! She has been successful in branding herself and if more people had her kind of money, to dress like her, to pay to get into the places she does so she can be seen - then there would be more no talent, beautiful rich people marketing themselves and becoming more famous. The irony of this is that there will be people that will pay to see her and hear her/public relations manager's words of wisdom.

if Paris found God in prison, then God would inspire her to donate all her money to charity....didn't she say she wanted to help children? I don't blame her for taking this offer - she knows no better - but I blame the sick folks who offered it to her....Let's pay our teachers more money, shall we? Or is that too logical?
