The $1.63 Million Diamond and Platinum Handbag

So it's one thing to spend hundreds on a designer handbag that's sure to go out of style in a season or two, but millions? This diamond studded platinum handbag was on display recently in Tokyo by jewelry maker GinzaTanaka, and it looks like something Cinderella could have carried to the ball to coordinate with her beautiful glass slippers. Valued at approximately $1.63 million dollars, it boasts 2,182 diamonds totaling 208 carats and a fairly simple and understated style considering its over-the-top price tag. With this in hand all you need is a diamond tiara and you're ready to party!

Get real. Don't pass that crap along about how this vanity bag employed poor people. The people who mined the diamonds probably aren't even as well off as the animals and insects around them, creatures who can gather food and other necessities from where they want without having to pay through the nose. When was the last time you knew of a bird being evicted from his nest by another rich bird for non-payment of rent? Or how many birds do you know who have to fork up a credit card to tote that twig back home to build a nest?
Think about it if you dare. Poverty is the byproduct of the very same property laws that make other people rich. People are poor because of all the unjust laws (made by the rich) that say, "Leave that alone!" even though God put things there for everyone to use like He did with the animals and insects.
Poverty is very unnatural. It is the result of the system created by the rich to keep the rich rich. Otherwise, we could all help ourselves to want we need from nature itself. It's knowledge that advances society, not money.

yes there are a lot of starving children in this country, and many others. It was not the owner of this purse that caused it.It is not her responsibility to take everything she has and spend on these children She can live a little for herself,Im sure she has donated perhaps millions already to charity and why not pamper herself? She worked hard for what she has. She deserves it.Myself I would not spend this kind of money on a purse even if I had it.I would put my money to better use.

I did read many comments, I had an interesting response to this news when I heard that a bag was sold for such money I knew it had to have diamonds on it. I don't know the situation of the person who bought it but hopefully he or she is a multimillionaire enough to have carefully thought out this purchase, perhaps it will appreciate in the future and can be auctioned off an with the proceeds the money can go to a charity or world cause. If you're rich, God bless, I wish that for everyone and the person who bought it should not feel guilty just mindful of what that kind of a purchase means and what can be done with it in the future. I think it's quite an elegant bag but for a very formal occasion such as a wedding or black tie, it's a statement bag and should be enjoyed too, ultimately you can't take it with you and should be properly forwarded with the right intentions!!!
