Joely Fisher's Hideaway, Estate of the Day

Today's estate is owned by actress and Hollywood royalty Joely Fisher (her parents are Connie Stevens and Eddie Fisher). Both Big Time Listings and the Real Estalker Mama weighed in on this rather interesting property. The home, a four-bedroom in Encino, is interesting on its own but it is what Ms. Fisher and her husband, cinematographer , Christopher Duddy have done with the place that is truly worthy of note. The house is located on a long cul de sac with a big gate making it perfect for secretive celebs.

It's so completely decorated with Tibetan and Indian furnishings that ti seems either the couple spent a lot of time on exotic travels bringing back souvenirs. Or they hopped on over to the local global imports store and bought out the stock. Strip the house of its furnishings and it is sleek, modern, maybe even a touch boring with its stainless steel and wood kitchen and a living room with smooth stone floors.

The Real Estalker Mama was not a fan of the massive bulb-rimmed mirror in the master bath but I rather love it, you'd never leave the house looking anything but flawless ever again because it would highlight every flaw. On the other hand, she liked the Indian cabana thingy next to the saltwater pool and I would ditch that in a New York minute. The home also includes home theater with THX sound and a guesthouse.
