Porsche Designs Mobile Phone
We never thought a phone could look fast, but Porsche seems to have accomplished just that. The squarish clamshell contraption you see in the photo is the company's newest design, a cell phone it developed in cooperation with Sagem Communications.
The P'9521, launched at the Red Dot Museum in Essen, offers up a 3.2 megapixel digital camera, 320 x 240 pixel touchscreen display, high-speed internet access and MP3 capability. While we're not sure if or when the phone will hit the market, it's no doubt that the Porsche name will send this phone a long way toward marketing success.

Porsche is slowly making its way well beyond cars. In the past year alone, they've announced boats, shoes and even apparel with Adidas. Cool phone - no doubt those who can't drive a Porsche will gladly wear or dial it.

@ RR:
Porsche design is a separate entity from Porsche, and has had little to do with the actual Porsche 'motors' since the very beginning.
Since F.A. Porsche didn't want to make cars... not as much as he wanted to design other things. :)
