Johnny Damon's New York Apartment, Estate of the Day
The Wall Street Journal and Bob over at Berg Properties led me to the listing for Johnny Damon's gorgeous 2,410 square foot apartment at at 151 E. 58th Street. Damon bought the apartment for $5,555,000 back in 2006. Now I used to be a fan of Damon back before the hair, when he first started to play for the Red Sox but my affection for the man ended when he went to play for the Yankees. Still, respect must be paid for this is a lovely place and it saddens me to think of him giving this up for a place in the burbs with a pool as the WSJ mentioned.
The apartment has three bedrooms including a master suite with two walk-in closets and a dressing area and a master bath with marble mosaic floors, double sinks, a bathtub and a shower. The apartment on a high floor at One Beacon Park has views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline and the building has concierge service, 24 hour doorman, fitness center, basement storage and valet parking. The windowed kitchen has stainless steel appliances, Italian Basaltina stone countertops and a large dining area with a banquette. It is listed at $8.2 million. What's with the sofas in the hallway? They look ridiculous.

The sofa's in the hallways are for seating when hosting partys after an ass kicking at 161st street Bonnx NY!!!

151 E 58th Street? Still Johnny? Is that an ottaman or a bed? No wonder he has leg problems. And those white chairs? Makes your back stand up and pay attention, ouch!

From what I read too, there should be a baggie full of long hair he keeps in his private bath too. I'll pay one mill for that, if it comes with the place. LOL

He is the man. Nice taste and you know what? Who else could afford that taste.........Hair or no hair he is a class act...........
