Moszkito Diamond Flip Flops

Diamonds on the soles of her shoes? How about diamonds across your flip-flops instead. Moszkito makes flip-flops with arch support that are meant for more than just a trip to the beach. The Snake Charmer flip-flop features 24 round, full-cut, high quality diamonds (6 carats total) on a black leather shoe. The Moszkito Arch Sandals offer more support than a traditional flip-flop and comes in a variety of price ranges, styles and colors. The diamond-decorated version sells for $20,000.

Maybe you shouldn't judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes.. er.. flip flips.
These are okay for the consumers they are intended for: Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie.
I personally do not like seeing flip flops, a childhood icon of summer and fun, turned "fashionable", nor having them equated with being low class or "trailer", as several have put it.
I have a plain black pair of flops, sans ornamentation. To some they might look as lovely as black socks with white sneakers, but you know what? I like them and they suit me. I wouldn't wear them to an office or out to dinner, though.
Flip flops are like a tiny little time machine. When I put my feet in them, I'm transported back to 1962, and life is good. For about two seconds.

Has anyone taken a look at the site that sells these controversial flip flops? Not only is their logo the annoying mosquito (moszkito), but they are truly orthopedic flip flops. You can even find a link to the American Podiatric Medical Association. Yes, the colors and price ranges do vary, but they're all affordable, except this marketing ploy (which are only sold in black). I'd bet you $20,000 they haven't sold a pair, but they sure have generated website traffic! I, personally, wouldn't spend 20 cents on a flip flop that's logo is a mosquito...there are enough of them in my back yard!

I wear black flip-flops almost every day, there is nothing "rough" about them on a female.
But the studding of flip-flops with diamonds is almost like pairing caviar with spam, two different products from two different worlds that do not really fit well.

Gosh...personally, if I'm going to spend the money, I'd rather have something that lasts longer. I design all my jewelry to be something that's handed down through generations. It's hard to imagine anyone wanting to inherit a pair of flip-flops!

Oh Come ON! you can see the quality is not in there. They look cheap and They're cheap.
You can recreate the look by purchasing a pair at your local Wal-mart for a mearly $1.98 if you have dignity, you'll go to Payless and get them for $7.99., and sew two $5.00 rhinestone bracelets on it, there you've got the $20K flip flops for less than $20.00.
Do we really need this type of article? what's next, Paris Hilton decorated her prison shit on diamonds?!

The Snake Charmer Sandals are made with Diamonds that are detachable(as you can see). They can be moved to different models including brown leather, ostrich leather and other models including jewelry. Perhaps in a perfect world some would understand that High Heels ruin your feet, not what we are about. The attacks on individuals on this blog is unfortunate. Creating fashion is lots of fun and great for those tired of commenting on Crocs.
