Porsche Design Bösendorfer Piano

I took piano lessons as a kid and I think I really need to refresh my skills, because there is just something so classic and cultured about being able to sit down and play something. Not to mention pianos are a beautiful addition to any room, even when there is no music.
Two Austrian based entities have come together to create the Porsche Design Bösendorfer Piano, which combines contemporary design with old tradition. It boasts silvery shiny aluminum and dark gray metallic lacquer surfaces, along with other ground breaking new design features which may have a lasting impact on future piano development. It's definitely a nice way for a more modern home to incorporate some old-fashioned culture.

Thought it was worth mentioning since the site hadn't covered it before, and it's in a current piano sale. Thank you for the comment!

You're quite welcome Rigel. We've got to keep you guys on your toes. If an item is not new, it would be worth mentioning this as most that come here want precise and correct information.

May I (as Austrian) add that while Bösendorfer is an Austrian company, Porsche (despite Ferdinand Porsche's earlier field of work for the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy) is actually situated in Germany. It only shortly moved to Austria for 1944-1950 and then back again to Germany.
While we are proud of our companies that are successful worldwide we wouldn't want to take credit for someone else's success ;)
