In what should be an April Fool's joke but is actually real, De Vito is coming out with his own line of the lemon-flavored Italian liqueur. My 2 partners & I have been producing premium quality limoncello from variations of recipes for the last year & 1/2. Our product is handcrafted from primarily american ingredients. In Feb 2007 we consulted with a world renown mixologist who said it was far better than anything he has produced or tasted in Europe. I too have a great recipe(been told the BEST) for limoncello. I brought it back from my home town in Italy and I can't keep it around. I have so many requests for this stuff, everyone loves it. I'm now making orangecello and everyone loves that too. Of course I can't sell it but everyone tells me to mass produce this stuff its so good. Maybe you can help a fellow Italian out , at least I'd love you to try it, on the house. Would be extremely excited to hear from you.
