My Dad owned a Harley, then owned a couple of Hondas, then settled into riding a BMW.(he owned 4 of those) Anyways...I was always taught that it isn't what bike you ride...it's the fact that you ride. Period. Me and my fiance' rode from Detroit to Sturgis on his Honda Shawdow 1100. Only took what we could carry on the back. I did notice alot of bikes being trailored, and yes some were Harleys. I remember being little on the back of my Dad's bike and he taught me to do the "2 finger wave" at any bike you saw, no matter what brand it was, because motorcycling is a sort of brotherhood. Although now, I get snubbed by alot of Harley riders when I wave, maybe it's because my man's VTX 1800 seems to fly by some of them hogs. ;)
