This is why I bought a Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan Nomad. #1 it is a better bike pound for pound than most HD's but most importantly unlike my friends and relatives that own HD's I don't have to buy anything that is HD...I just like driving my bike and bringing one of my family along with me. These people I know have rooms in their houses and even their cars to show they are HD owners. As someone said what does all this merchandise has to do with biking. There was a time when if you had all the S--- you were thought of less than a biker and more of a Loser! What has the biker become a billboard for Harley-Davidson...! Spend your $$$ on gas and your time enjoying the sights.
