Recent studies discovered that NASCAR fans are into wine, and the same can be said of Harley Davidson owners, hence a new wine aiming at the Harley fan demographic. The V-Twin Zin from the
V-Twin Vineyards in Sonoma is a wine for the motorcycle lifestyle. The 2004 estate vineyard Zinfandel is sourced from a vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County, Calif., and has a label decorated with skulls and a flaming V-twin engine. The company also have a member gallery on its website for biker pictures. Other releases planned are the River Run Chardonnay, Poker Run Cabernet, Redwood Run Zinfandel and the Toy Run Rose. The 2004 V-Twin Zin sells for $24 per bottle.

Don't get your knickers in a twist - if you don't want it, don't buy it!

ATTENTION MORONS. IT IS NOT HARLEY or HD WINE. LEARN TO READ. It is wine made by a vinter trying to cash in on the Harley, Chopper, Bobber trend and sell to that market. The wine is called V-twin Zin not Harley or HD. Vtwins are made in America, Japan and Italy to name a few. If you dont like it because of its name dont drink it. Some great wines come from Sonoma and some great bikes come from the countries I mentioned. Who cares if its marketed to the bike riding set? If you think you are too manly to drink wine then dont. I bet there a bunch of wannabees on here talking crap who really are only weekend warriors who play dressup when on thier Harley or whatever motorcycle they have then go home and hide it or to work in thier suits during the week. I say good for the people who made it.

I own a Harley. I wouldnt drink Harley wine. I wouldnt not buy a Harley truck. And I definetly would never be a Harley billboard.
Rick Apr 16th 2007 7:44PM
And to follow that up. I do ride also. I have had Harleys, Hondas, Suzuki and a custom chopper. And Debbie was right, its not about what you ride its that you ride at all and make an effort to help Bros and Sis' who need it no matter what they on and pass a kind gesture to those who share the road with you. I cant stand those who think because they are on one bike or another they think they are better somehow, faster, cooler, richer, poorer, more badass or deserve some sort of extra respect. Its all about the ride.

There are 2 kinds of motorcycle riders, those that ride Harleys and Those That Know Better. Loud pipes = slow bike!

After reading the post here, I guess I'll add my two cents in. 15'000 bucks and 50 miles does not make you a biker!!!!! Me personally been riding putts since the late 60's and year after year more stuff comes out marketing to the "biker" crowd, more like to the RUBS now buying scoots. I still own the first bike i ever bought, 68 sporty on a rigid frame hand built by me. Not what some builder modeled after what he saw in iron, but what i saw. People wake up and smell the coffe, when an a person sees a market trust there will be some one to exploit it. I got some righteous tshirts from when biking was cool and dirty, not policitally correct like ya find now. Get a life one day maybe you'll come up with an idea to get rich quick as for me "in the wind "is all i care about, by the way I'd rather see my sister in a whore house than grind RICE BFFB

Some CEO or upper management somewhere here's an idea from lower management in some meeting "Hey Boss, we should make a deal with Harley Davidson and put their name on our wine and like all the Harley Davidson riders will buy our wine" and then some people actually do, it's all about marketing and money. but what next ? we already have shoes and trucks that aren't Harley's either and how many other products ? I know, how about Harley Davidson bottled water ? now that would be some good water!!

We all know it's about the ride. The vinyards are trying to market to a new crowd. People, there just trying to make money like the rest of us. There will be people who buy it and people who don't, some will like it, some won't . It's a Marketing. Some people buy anything with a bike on it, riders or wannabes alike. Yes, I ride my own Harley and no I don't buy all kinds of stuff because it says Harley or because it has a bike on it. But it's all about Freedom of Choice (remember) that's what most of us fight for.
SICBCH - If you see my license plate, wave Hi! cuz I'll probably be passing ya. LOL

My wife rides with me and she prefers her wines and she is a very good knowledge of wines, but for me it is still Jack Daniels on the rocks!! We just might have to try the wine!!

Have you all forgotten what H.D. stands for? Hundred Dollar, if someone wants to cash in on it who freaking cares. I ride and when I do I could care less about anyone or thing except the stupid people in cages. People like to collect items that have to do with the logo. Sounds to me some might be a bit jealous cause they didn't come up with the idea;) Have a good & safe one. HrlyBren

Sonoma makes a good varity of wines. My concern would be that the bottle labels be appropriate labels and show that Harley-Davidson is serious about their name being on the bottles. A label that will attract the attention of a prospective customer.

Well Folks I own a Harley. Although I hate wine to no end id probably buy a bottle and stick it on a shelf next to all my HD memorabilia and dust it off from time to time.My money says the wine will stop being produced just as the ciggarettes were and make me some cash in the end..
