Recent studies discovered that NASCAR fans are into wine, and the same can be said of Harley Davidson owners, hence a new wine aiming at the Harley fan demographic. The V-Twin Zin from the
V-Twin Vineyards in Sonoma is a wine for the motorcycle lifestyle. The 2004 estate vineyard Zinfandel is sourced from a vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County, Calif., and has a label decorated with skulls and a flaming V-twin engine. The company also have a member gallery on its website for biker pictures. Other releases planned are the River Run Chardonnay, Poker Run Cabernet, Redwood Run Zinfandel and the Toy Run Rose. The 2004 V-Twin Zin sells for $24 per bottle.

then later, you can pull down your Harley-Davidson(TM) underwear and relieve yourself of your H-D wine down your H-D toilet and pull H-D TP from your H-D roll holder. like it has anything to do with motorcycles.

H.D. Wine? Are you kidding me ? How many bikers will admit to stopping at the local salon, listen to a live band, watch some chicks dancing and order a glass of "Wine" No offence, but maybe at a honda goldwing convention !

There's a demographic? is that like a tag or something that say's if you ride a Harley, you gotta be this way or that? I think I'll skip it, it probably taste like burnt motor oil anyway....... isn't that like profiling? oh wait, can we all Jesse or Al? will they help us ?? This is almost laughable....................... how stereotypical can they get?

Don't panic posters... It's just another sales gimmick. Don't let it cause you stress or ruin your life...

This is why I bought a Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan Nomad. #1 it is a better bike pound for pound than most HD's but most importantly unlike my friends and relatives that own HD's I don't have to buy anything that is HD...I just like driving my bike and bringing one of my family along with me. These people I know have rooms in their houses and even their cars to show they are HD owners. As someone said what does all this merchandise has to do with biking. There was a time when if you had all the S--- you were thought of less than a biker and more of a Loser! What has the biker become a billboard for Harley-Davidson...! Spend your $$$ on gas and your time enjoying the sights.

To Ringo, a biker would never admit to stopping at a local Salon, at least any I know. A Saloon maybe. But not to drink HD Wine, I agree.
DAVID Apr 16th 2007 4:41PM
I THINK WE WOULD HAVE RATHER HAD SOME H/D LONGNECKS!!!
Bumpa Apr 16th 2007 4:37PM
Ummm there is already a biker wine, Its called beer! as for this HD Wine it is for trailer queens and wannabe's. as for me I do prefer to ride HD's but the only thing that I own that has a HD logo on it are some X-mas ornaments my kid's got me for X-mas present's I ride to for the freedom not the status it seems to have for these wannabe's!

O.K. I understand all the negative atttitudes towards a wine for Harley riders (stereotypical)..
But my wife rides with me and all she drinks is wine so I would like to get some of that juice in Connecticut soon... Thanx
BILL Apr 16th 2007 5:49PM
They already produced a HD Beer and it sucked. I own a Harley, but I agee with JOE that there is too much Harley crap.
willy's chile Apr 16th 2007 5:51PM
To all HD riders, there is not a better feeling than riding a harley because its the thunder and the sound that makes the difference...about you riders that talk about wannabees, we were all wannabees until we bought our Harleys, now we have them and we are all HD riders, the difference is riders and owners of trailors...as far as wine? a rider drinks anything as long as there is a buzz afterwards...
Timarie Apr 16th 2007 5:51PM
I ride my own Harley, and I don't drink beer. I drink wine...so if it tastes grear, then I have no problem asking for it. #1...We don't go to local saloons...it's about the ride. #2...It's not just men that ride...WOMEN RIDE HARLEY'S, TOO!!! and #3...DRINK RESPONSIBLY. H-D Wine or otherwise...gotta keep your head about you when you are riding the iron horse!
scott Apr 16th 2007 8:35PM
well now that there's wine on the way.....all we need is some H.D. cheese. u gotta be kidding me! I put the h.d wine in my h.d. flask, that will be tucked in to my h.d. jacket next to my h.d.......u got the point
jack Apr 16th 2007 6:15PM
will the HD wine complement the HD beef jerky sold in gas stations? and do i need to buy some HD cheese to eat with it, and do i need to wipe my mouth on HD napkins too?
Charlie Apr 17th 2007 5:49AM
Hey, I'll go for anything that'll make my HD stock value go back up !!! Keep on sippin' !!!
As for you Joe, you're always gonna be a "wannbe biker" until you get off that Kow and get a REAL BIKE !!!
drunk Apr 16th 2007 6:32PM
To Joe u would have more fun if u rode a harley instead of DRIVING that 1500 boat anchor
tammy Apr 16th 2007 6:38PM

My Dad owned a Harley, then owned a couple of Hondas, then settled into riding a BMW.(he owned 4 of those) Anyways...I was always taught that it isn't what bike you ride...it's the fact that you ride. Period. Me and my fiance' rode from Detroit to Sturgis on his Honda Shawdow 1100. Only took what we could carry on the back. I did notice alot of bikes being trailored, and yes some were Harleys. I remember being little on the back of my Dad's bike and he taught me to do the "2 finger wave" at any bike you saw, no matter what brand it was, because motorcycling is a sort of brotherhood. Although now, I get snubbed by alot of Harley riders when I wave, maybe it's because my man's VTX 1800 seems to fly by some of them hogs. ;)
