Lil Jon's Necklace Sets Bling Record
Rapper Lil Jon has quite a handful with the necklace shown here. The Guinness Book of World Records has officially certified it as the largest diamond pendant ever. The "Crunk Aint Dead" pendant is 7.5 inches tall, six inches wide and weighs almost 12 pounds. This is some bitty bling, 73 carats of diamonds on the necklace but 3,756 round-cut white diamonds total set in 18K yellow and white gold. It is valued at around $500,000. I'd say something about how tacky it is but he seems so proud of it.

What an unconscionable waste of resources. A more shameless, tasteless, downright obscene farce I have yet to encounter. There is something inherently felonious with a society that allows someone of such resounding ignorance to accumulate enough wealth to ever be in a position to purchase something like this.
And no, I’m not a racist moron who just doesn’t like hip-hop out of principle (although I must admit, I really don’t like what hip-hop has become as of late)....I’ve been a huge fan of rap for over 15 years and have seen it steadily decline in quality for almost as long. Give me some classic shit....gangstarr, wu-tang, big-l, biggie, tupac, atmosphere, madlib, MF Doom etc, and Ill listen to it all day and support it fully. This crap Lil Jon is making just sucks - He's taken stupidity and unrestrained gaudiness to an all new low.
Krunk sucks, krumping is weak, and I'll be shocked if he survives 5 years at this rate until his finances require him to melt this down and sell it all off.

This size and type of diamonds should sell for about $750.00(per carat)including the mounting- Making the necklacr worth approx $55,000- $60,000.00- Where do they get these prices-

I wonder how much of a difference $500,000 could have made in the community where he's from, or to children who could need scholarship money to attend college in the US, or people in Africa. All I have to say is my children and I are on step away from eviction... and people like lil John waste money on things that they can't take with them when they're gone. I don't see that he'll be making that kind of money for the rest of his life, unless he's going to do something other than rap. So many rappers spend money on this foolishness, and then 5 years later, they're bankrupt, selling it all off for however much they can get, and feeling stupid. Plus, I wonder if he checked to see where those diamonds came from, or if he could care less. It's sad.... too sad to go on any further. Such a waste.

I am sorry but this is pathetic! I agree with others, these "rappers" should be spending thier money wisely. Maybe helping out the neighborhood they came from. We have people living in tiny houses with 5 and 6 kids and then we see people who have nothing to spend thier money on but this crap. IT SUX!
