•Fashionable New Yorkers Alfredo Paredes and Brad Goldfarb are putting their home in The Atalanta for $2.6 million. It's a one-bedroom under 2,000 square feet but it's quite sleek and elegant. The listing is here. The Mama loved the kitchen but for me that galley style kitchen with the big giant windows looks like no fun to cook in.

I'm impressed with Jon Bonjovi's $26,000,000 Soho apartment purchase. New York City has one unbelievable market. No realestate bubble is bursting in America's richest city. So you ask who is buying in New York City. Many Europeans from all over the world are buying apartments in New York city. When you consider the prices of apartments in Hong Kong and Tokyo and London, New York city is still reasonably priced.Hey what can I say New York City is for the rich. The sub prime melt down will not affect the prices of New York Condos as speculated by some analyst on the bloomberg Network.
When they say that housing prices are falling they mean that houses are not selling as fast as they once did. Houses are staying on the market longer, and selling $10,000-$50,000 cheaper.Do you really consider that a price drop? HAHA That price drop is just a catch to get people to buy. So for all you house hunters that think this market is going to collapse, think again. New York is only getting more and more populated. The city as a whole is becoming a richer place to live in. The poor will eventually be pushed out of this rich city. You can either buy now or wait and buy at a higher price with a larger required down payment. All the New Condo developments in the city today are starting in the $1200-$1500 price per square foot range in this so called ever collapsing market. Believe it or not, new condos are selling out at a phenomenal rate. The Plaza overlooking Central park, one of New York's most sought after residences is signing contracts with clients that are walking into the sales office on their first visit. Even more suprising is that clients get to see a digitally animated video of their actual unit and they are still buying. Everyone wants a part of New York history.
15 Central Park West; Sting bought a $30,000,000 apartment there along with Denzel Washington's $20,000,000 apartment.
West End Avenue between 59th and 60th street the upper West sides fastest growing area at the moment.( Also being called Columbus Circle West)
Two unbelievable projects going up at the moment;
10 West End Ave-(Developer Apollo real estate building this 31 story tower: This developer also helped build the AOL time Warner building in Columbus Circle)In my opinion the floor plans in this building are some of the city's nicest plans. www.10wea.com
the Element-555 West 59th street ( the CEO of Corcoran Marketing just purchased a penthouse at the building ) Huge statement being made there.
Extell Development will be building luxury towers from 59th and Riverside Blvd till 65th and riverside. Once this area is developed you can forget about it as they say
The whole area from Riverside Blvd up to columbus ave is going go be a super expensive place to live in the next 3-5 years. Get in now while you can. Both buildings are practically sold out of one bedrooms.
Best of luck to all you condo bargain hunters!
