When you have a yard for your pets to play in, it is lovely to be able to let them out just to be animals for a bit. A pet door is just about the only way to give them easy access to the great outdoors at all times without having to sit by the door. Unfortunately, many doors are not really conducive to having pet doors - traditional ones, at least - installed. Hale Pet Doors has a fantastic
custom pet door that is designed to work in French doors, where a pane of glass is replaced with a barely noticeable flap. Sizes vary, but you can't beat the subtlety of the design. And your pets will be happy, too! Prices range from $115 - $465, depending on model.

French doors for pets, you've just got to love it !
They do seem quite nice and present a much cleaner line then most pet doors.

I'm a labradoodle dog, and I made my own doorway. My neighbor Buster ( a terrier), and I made the doorway ourselves - it's in the fence that separates us. It's not as fancy as the french doors you posted, but it's pretty cool. The only trouble is he's small enough to come to my side of the yard, but I'm too big to get to his side of the yard.
(And right now he stole all my doggy toys. They are all in his yard!)
Maybe having a door wasn't so good for me afterall.
