Sunday Real Estate Round-Up
From the NY Post's Gimme Shelter:-- Blythe Danner has bought a co-op apartment at One Fifth Avenue, paying $3.125 million for a three-bedroom, three-bath residence on a high floor in the prewar building overlooking Washington Square Park. Last August, Danner sold a two-bedroom, 21/2-bath place on the eighth floor for $1.8 million.
--It turns out that it is Martha Stewart, not her daughter Alexis that will be moving in to 165 Charles Street.
--Russian heiress and real-estate collector Anna Anisimova has added a Miami residence to her large stunning portfolio. She spent $5 million on a full-floor three-bedroom penthouse at CHI Miami, a new condo project in Sunny Isles, whose website includes the tagline "even the other half doesn't live like this." Anisimova's place will have a 1,300-square-foot terrace with a private mineral- water swimming pool, an Indonesian-style rain shower and a summer kitchen.
--Closer, ever close to the sale of Bob Guccione's mansion. No price has been revealed but it looks like the deal is close to done.

--Tom Brokaw has bought the duplex apartment that belonged to the Barbara Epstein for over half a century for $3,267,650. Brokaw bought the place with his daughter.
--Former Wall Street big shot John H. Gutfreund has bought his 21-year-old son, John Peter Gutfreund,a $1.96 million condo.
--Dan Houser, who co-founded Rockstar Games, has paid $6.25 million for a duplex penthouse at 20 Greene Street that belonged to Charles Ferguson, who sold his firm Vermeer Technologies to Microsoft for $130 million before becoming a documentary filmmaker.
--Janna Bullock,has put her C.P.H. Gilbert–designed mansion at 14 East 82nd Street on the market for $25 million which is over twice what she paid for it in November 2005. The 35th Kips Bay Decorator Show House opens in the mansion next month with 20 designers working on over 9,000 square feet of space. The listing is here.

--Mick Jones of Foreigner is selling his 154-year-old Manhattan town house for $7.2 million. The listing is here.
--Go-Go's bassist Kathy Valentine and her actor-musician husband, Steven Weisburd, have sold their six-bedroom house in Studio City, Calif. for $1,770,000. The house was listed for $2.199 million back in August.

--Magician Lance Burton is building a six-bedroom home complete with turrets in
Las Vegas. His old, much smaller home is on the market for $700,000.
--Actor Jeffrey Tambor has sold his Pacific Palisades home for about its $2.9-million asking price.
--Cottontail Ranch, a summer camp in the Malibu hills is priced from $8 million to $9 million.

Music manager Peter Leak is selling his home in Hancock Park for $6.995 million. The home has six bedrooms, a cabana with a wine cellar and a large pool The listing is here.
--Avril Lavigne's Beverly Hills Post Office home is listed for $6.9 million. It has five bedrooms and is a step up from her modest two-bedroom in Toronto. You can take a peek here.
--Last week we checked out Anthony Kiedis's home this week we are looking at another member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers home for sale. Flea has put his Malibu home on the market for $4.8 million. There's a virtual tour website for this one too although it's not as posh as Villa Chili. It's funky, messy and haphazard but it has a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean and it's nice to see Flea really loves books.
-- Jane Seymour and James Keach have gone to contract on their Malibu home which is listed at $12,995,000. The couple bought the home from Keach's brother Stacy in 2004 for $4.5 million and did a mahor rehab of the home. There's a website for this one too.
