Last week saw the launch of the
Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag, which considering price and exclusivity, could very well become the next "it" bag for celebs and fashionistas. The large shopper has a noticeable gold chain handle, but the thing that makes it stand out is that it is made up of samples of 15 different Louis Vuitton Handbags from the LV spring/summer and cruise lines. "It takes all the best parts of the season's creations and rolls them into one. We are confident that the bag is utterly exclusive and that it will remain so," said a spokesman. The bag is limited edition and each one is numbered. Price: £23,484 ($45,352).

I think this bag is really pretty! I am a purse freak but i love dooney and bourke but the louie is a cutie i think its wonderful and for the people that get one please make it look good with your outfit and dont wear it with everything!!!!!!!!

The first reaction is to try to enlarge the picture and then the term "FUGLY" comes to mind. I could see if it wasn't for sale and being held up as something beautiful. That thing should never become part of an outfit--it's a train wreck. Leave it on an internet page and do not attempt to reproduce, sell or give as a gift.

OK, this is the first time I have seen a designer take all their left over scraps, throw them all together and then have the nerve to ask such a high price for it. But there are probably some label oriented rich women out there that have bad enough taste to buy this bag.
I think it would be cheaper to buy all the different bags that this bag is made up of and have the local shoe repair guy sew them together for you.
Personally, I can't understand why anyone would pay such a high price for any bag that wasn't one of a kind, handsewn, with handmade one of a kind hardware. Whatever happened to originality and uniqueness?

I think that handbag is sooooo cute! I have 17 Louis Vuitton handbags! I'm buy alll designer things! Believe it or not but I've never been to a Dollar Store and my friends think I'm rich! So what, I live in Beverly Hills but that doesn't mean that I'm rich, does it???

That purse is so ugly I can't believe someone would waste that much money on it, i would be embarassed to walk around with it.
That just shows us that its not what it looks like, it's the cost that matters to people-stupid
