Mattress-less Bed Promises Pricey Snore Relief
If you are living with a snorer the best solution may just be a bed with no mattress. The Ammique body suspension system does away with the traditional mattress using a suspension system of thousands of small capsules to support you instead. The system provides a bed free of allergens and is said to be the cleanest bed in the world. The bed sells for around $30,000 but if you are interested in trying it out there are two hotels, The Bath Priory Hotel and the Cotswold House Hotel, that have Ammique suites so you can spend a night or two before committing.

If a person has sleep apnea, just changing the bed will not stop the snoring. Show proof that there was a reduction in snoring by the use of a polysomnograph. That would tell if the mattress works. Most people require a positive pressure device applied to the nose with a preset pressure to keep the airway open to stop the snoring. It is much cheaper and you don't have to buy a new mattress.
