Vividus Bed
Assuming that you get about eight hours of sleep a day, you are going to spend 1/3 of your life in bed. If you live to be eighty, that will add up to 233,600 hours - and we're not counting non-sleep time spent in bed. With that much time spent in it, it is worth it to spring for something that will really set you up for a good night's sleep. The Vividus is a high-end bed that doesn't justify its $50,000+ price tag (increasing to $59,750 in April) on looks alone. The Swedish-designed bed from Hastens is made "from latex, flax, memory foam, silk, cashmere, lambswool and hand-tufted horse hair," all used specifically to enhance comfort and the sleep experience. Each bed is handmade, and not even a dozen have been sold since the beds launched in July.

The Hastens beds have no latex or memory foam. They are completely natural and contain no synthetic materials whatsoever. That is what makes them so appealing to many. Your article is mistaken.

There is no way that mattress should command a $50,000+ price tag.

Hastens beds are among the most comfortable in the world and the prices start at $3750 in queen size. The Vividus $50,000 Hastens has more features and upholstery layers than the other beds in the Hasten line up, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any Hastens bed. I am the Connecticut Hastens dealer. I import several brands from Sweden and I also carry several American brands including organic natural latex mattresses. I ship these beds nationwide, but I would be happy to offer information or advice to anyone investigating high quality beds even if they are not purchasing from one of my stores.

LET ME SAY THIS: ANYONE DESPICABLE ENOUGH TO PAY NEARLY $60 THOUSAND FOR A BED OUGHT TO BE BURNED ALIVE IN IT WHILE THE 1 BILLION ON EARTH THAT LIVE ON ABOUT 10 CENTS A DAY WATCH. THEY PROBLEM IS THAT THE POOR WOULD NOT STAND BY AND WATCH - LIKE THE WEALTHY, THEY WOULD SAVE THEIR SORRY ASSES! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO EVEN POST SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
