NightCove Circadian Clock

NightCove is a new concept in "alarm" clocks that dispenses with all the severity of the traditional models. It is designed to maximize the benefit you get from sleeping by enhancing the quality of your sleep through a series of color-changing lights liked to the circadian rhythm. In short, it creates a relaxing environment to fall asleep in, gently wakes you up in the morning and fades in and out during the night to correspond with REM activity. It is fully programmable, even for naps, and can be synced with a computer to add mp3s or to another NightCove unit. Price: $2,323.

Dear Nicole,
This is a great post!
Just one thing that would be important to correct regarding the post: all the aspects you mention are correct except that NightCove doesn't 'fade(s) in and out during the night to correspond with REM activity'.
NightCove doesn't produce light while sleeping but only during the 'falling-asleep phase' and the 'waking-up phase'. Other room environment parameters (like temperature, air) can be adjusted during sleep but not light. Light during the night could indeed have a negative impact on the biological clock.
Regards
