Oakland Ranch, Estate of the Day

In general when I choose a house for estate of the day it is based on the house itself. But it would be impossible to cover Oakland Ranch, a large home in Grandview, Texas, without covering the decor. This home has the largest doll collection I have ever seen outside of a museum. Several rooms feature cabinets full of dolls. The home itself is quite impressive is classic Texas. It sits on 230 acres with fountains, a swimming pool, pool house with a kitchen and a wetbar, rose garden, dining pergola, herb garden, barn, gazebo, swimming hole and more. The home has five bedrooms, a family room, library, study, game room, theater, brick wine room and a gym. The owners appear to be Gone With The Wind fans, both the home theater and the billiard room are decorated with Gone With The Wind signs (and many of the dolls look to be Gone With The Wind dolls).
