Last year for Valentine's Day my husband and I decided to dress up nice and go to this really swanky restaurant on the Seattle waterfront. We decided that the new clothes (including a pearl necklace and nice cufflinks) and dinner would be enough of a gift to each other that we didn't need to buy additional gifts. Well my husband's friend and his girlfriend ended up joining us for dessert and when two 25-year-old boys with alcohol in them get together it can get a little crazy. One thing led to another and the friend dared my husband to go jump in the water in his nice new clothes, swim out to this huge yacht (The Phantom) docked about 100 feet away, and swim back - all in front of the rich couples poring in and out of the fancy restaurant. The resulting photo of my husband dripping wet, shivering, and looking ridiculous standing next to me in my nice dress is the best (and silliest) Valentine's Day gift ever. We had a good reason to heat things up when we got home, though!
