Victoria Beckham To Launch Handbag, Shoe Lines

Style icon Victoria Beckham, headed to Los Angeles with superstar husband David Beckham, will soon have a line of accessories to complement her Rock and Republic jeans line. Posh has just signed a £5 million pound contract to design a range of handbags and shoes for release in the US. If they're anything like the bags that she favors now, her purses will be sleek and stylish, while sources say that "her shoes will be as sexy as Christian Louboutin's". She already has a successful handbag line in Tokyo.

I just don't see what anyone would be interested in in this woman... She doesn't do a damned thing worth anything, but shop. She's not pretty or very talented. She's so skinnny, her fake boobs look like baseballs stuck to her chest amid those ribs you can see. Why anyone would be interested or impressed is beyond me...

I agree with the never smiling bit. If I were going to waste tons of money on a pair of shoes or a handbag, I would at least want them to be from a designer who did not look so miserable.

of course leave it to a man to go straight to the ass..this article is about her marketing a handbag line, and if the girl is going to do that she has to appeal to women...and obviously she is missing out on some of the key points reaching her audience. No I certainly am not interested in david at all...I am saying if she wants to market to women she needs to appeal to us better.

Yep, leave it to a man...go straight to the ass and miss the whole point...we are talking about her new marketing line here..of shoes and handbags. If she wants to get through to the audience US women and sell these items she need to APPEAL to us. And as we are saying..she dosn't affect us in this manner. So gives a crap about her ass..or her husband..she needs to step up to the plate and market the crap..

I agree with Harmony. The article is about her collection of handbags and shoes not about her looks or personality. The funny thing is, is that these will be the first ones at the stores buying her stuff...hypocrits!!!!!

Whenever people try to do something everyone will have something to say about it. Women stop being so "catty". She might actually be a nice person. Do any of you know her? Give her a shot! I know from a marketing standpoint and from a social conditioning standpoint the old saying is true "you are as people see you". But get past the surface and look at the bags...you might actually like them!

I read that she doesn't smile because of her teeth. She give off the attitude that she is above everyone else. But that aside, I do own a couple of pairs of her jeans and they're a great fit. I doubt I'll buy her purse or shoes because they'll probably be ridiculously over priced (like the jeans were).

Yea So i just read an article about what she is doing with her LIfe. But for some reason there is Not 1 comment about that. just about her looks. I think she is doing pretty well for how much she is getting paid for all of this but U people just don't care about that. u care about her looks.

Posh spice, where to begin... Frankly I don't care. If I like her product I will buy if I don't I won't. I don't care what her ass or her face looks like. Has anyone seen Donattella Versace? No one buys her stuff to look like her. People realize you are buying a product not a celebrity. If she is happy let her be skinny, fat, whatever, who cares, anyway?

Why is it that everyone of these postings always turns into a jealousy-laced bashing of thin and pretty women? If you had cameras flashing at you everytime you set foot outside, you would work hard at being thin and pretty too! Why do you think celebs wear those huge sunglasses?? It's to hide their faces when they're not wearing makeup...remember that horrid shot of Cameron Diaz without makeup? They don't want that happening to them.
Maybe instead of putting people down for being thin and pretty, you should try to work on yourself..it's certainly more productive. Those of you out there who are also slim and beautiful know what I'm talking about..we have no reason to put down Posh Spice or any other celebrity for that matter.

I'm with Lisa. Everyone has something bad to say about everyone. One person thinks she's hot and another thinks she's too unattractive and stuck up. Who cares. It's what makes the world go round. If she designs fashionable bags and shoes, then I would buy them. I'm not a fan of hers, but I also don't think she's a hideous as lots of others think.
