Hidden Meadows is an absolutely elegant home in South Londonderry, Vermont. The deluxe country estate is on 90 acres surrounded by the Green Mountains. The house has a Georgian feel with plenty of windows to catch the light. On the property there is also a two-bedroom guest house, a club house, pool, ponds, tennis court and a beautiful pool pavilion. Other amenities include a fitness center, steam room and a library. Generally speaking, I like most estates of the day but find a lot of amenities or features I just shake my head about and say "that has to come out" (after my fantasy move-in. Not this one. You're right, pity this isn't in a more weather-consistent locale, but this is a truly elegant and restful estate. I'd take it as-is.

Reason : we have a car which was really driven from the same pope, as he was a pope. An official representative car. Very attractive offering and a lovely traditional colonial, however I think the owners are delusional if they think they can get $8M in Vermont for it.
Even in the Berkshires of Mass the property would have a hard time at that price. Vermont taxes, cost of living, and remote feel make flipping a renovated or newly built mansion a tough sell.
The late actor Charles Bronson's sprawling 330-acre estate in Vermont with a wonderful manor house, stables, ponds, rolling hills, etc languished for a few years until the price dropped to a price 1/2 of 'Hidden Meadows' asking price.
The most expensive (listed) property in the State still appears to be "Little Baldy Hill" at around $12M
