Heart-Shaped Tub Romances Your Bathroom
Heart-shaped bathtubs aren't just for the Poconos anymore. You can add a two-person heart-shaped whirlpool bath to your own home. The tub has six jets total including two recessed Rotary Massage Jets for back and torso therapy. It sells for $2,265.90 and has options such as a decorative rim kit, comfort pillow and remote pump option. I would love to see how someone integrates this into their home.[via Home Improvement Ideas]

It's pretty cute, and depending on my future budget, I might buy it one day. But still, I can't help but wonder... What do you say to your guests when they use your bathroom and get a look at your hot pink "TUB of LOVE"? Really, now? What do you SAY?

As a lover and collector of hearts of all kinds, I will buy this tub for my Master Bath in my next home! It is smashing! A real conversation piece of art.
What manufacturer makes this?

Aw it's so cute! Somehow, I don't think my boyfriend would really agree on that one though.

Jenna,
You simply tell them that you and your husband are still a happy couple after ? years of marriage and you enjoy each others company.

Love the idea!!!!!!!!!!! They should market a two-person love spa for the outdoor back patio!!!!!!!!!

Years ago, there used to be an advertisement that ran in the New York Times travel section on Sundays - a "honeymoon haven" in Pennsylvania's Pocono hills advertised heartshaped bathtubs.
Plus ça change, plus la même chose...the more things change, the more they stay the same...

My wife and I stayed in a place in Ohio named Donnas palace and it had that tub in the room it was nice to set the mood I would buy one just to have it for a selling perk when we sell our house soon........

come on i dont know about heart shape tub come i love my husben and all but we i get in the tub it just my time to get away from the world
Patti Jan 16th 2007 3:44PM
Sorry...this looks like something that would be in Elvis' Graceland. Don't hold your breath that this would be a "selling perk" for your house (see Danny's post).

It looks so inviting, but I'm so large there wouldn't be room for my spouse... I could have my own time in it though you can count on that!!!
Marci Jan 16th 2007 4:07PM
"what do you say to people?" If you have a tub like that....ANYTHING YOU WANT!!!!I'd love one, and I don't even have anyone to share it with! Too cool!
Steffie Jan 16th 2007 4:07PM
I would love to have one..........my husband and I never get enough time together.........that would be great.....definitely put it in a master bath, that way no one else will see it unless you let them.......
Renee Jan 16th 2007 4:16PM
I think the tub is cute but possibly over-rated. My husband and I do not have time to use our over sized whirlpool tub in our mastersuite currently!
Michele Jan 16th 2007 4:21PM
Me and my husband had our Honeymoon at the Pocono's and had this very same tub in our room!!!! oooooooh the memories :-) (almost 19 years ago!)

I used to Own THREE "Honeymoon Cabins" in Gatlinburg, TN (where 1,300 weddings are performed EACH month!!). Each of these cabins had one of these tubs. My guest's absolutely LOVED this tub. We received many many "compliments" on them. If you want to try one call Heritage Rentals in Gatlinburg they may still have cabins with these tubs.
