Paris Hilton claimed that she was broke when she first moved to Los Angeles. Not too many people believed her at the time, so hopefully that is not going to be her excuse as to why she skipped out on a $7.70 bill at Sloanes Cafe in Sydney. Apparently, at the restaurant (which is worth a stop if you're in Paddington) Paris' publicist paid for a couple of burgers, but not the mineral water and frappe that Paris decided to add to her meal. The heiress waltzed out with her crew -- without paying for the drinks.

I like paris. Not only if she pretty fine and sexy, shes funny, and i would love to hang out with her. Even if she didnt have money, she would be the same. living life to the fullest, couse life is short. might as well have fun. when i was her age i was a monster, wait a second, i still am.

It sounds like her publicist is the one who skipped out on the bill. Clearly Paris thought the publicist was taking care of the bill. I am no Paris Hilton fan by any means, but lets be fair here.

Come on...you Women must be over weight, insecure or just an emotional car wreck. Why must words such as Skinny, rich , or stupid be used? It is about acceptance...don't we all have someone "like" Paris in our lives? A brother that just doesn't get it a sister that is miserable? etc, etc... I'd like to hear Paris's side of the story, like why didn't she pay the full bill? Also, what does the restaurant say actually happened from their viewpoint? She might have simply overlooked the extra stuff she ordered. Haven't we all forgot to pay something inadvertently, at one time or another? Maybe she was a jerk in this matter, but until there are more facts it is premature to judge her.

Jeez this is weird. Look at the posts from females on here most of them are just filled with venom. First of all this is not even newsworthy. Secondly, just because Paris has done strange and stupid things in the past does not mean this was not an honest mistake. I have an idea stop casting the first stone.

why didn't the restaurant stop her at the time... i believe the reason is that paris charges as much as a million dollars for her publicity stops and the retaurant got off pretty cheap... most owners would pay her thousands to eat at their place,,,, i do believe they are wicked and deserve bankruptcy...

I think Paris is too stupid to do something like that on purpose. Perhaps she forgot she was broke or forgot to pay for the drinks. This seems more believable than her being broke. She could probably walk in any Hilton and get money I'm sure.
