Paper Softwall
Whether you like the Paper Softwall or not depends on how you feel about subdividing your room/house/apartment into smaller spaces because, unlike most room screens, it actually is very wall-like. The primary difference between the Softwall and other dividers is that, rather than just looking attractive, the wall dampens sound and can both absorb and transmit light. It is made of 400 layers of "honeycombed translucent white, fire-retardant paper" and is bound with natural wool felt ends. The lightweight wall is sturdy, yet it can compress into one compact, plank-like sheet for storage and can be attached to additional sections for an even larger wall. It would be great for creating a mini studio around a piano, drum set or other instrumental setup, especially in a large room where sound carries easily. Price: $1,040.

Hi Nicole-
Thanks for bringing this versatile product to our attention. We love the fact that it is flexible and re-usable and can change the character of a room again and again...an important aspect of eco-friendly green design. We'll look into this for use at demonstrations and shows. Thanks,
