When buying a gift, especially for a woman, you can never go wrong with a piece of jewelry. There are an array of styles to choose from - whether earrings, necklaces, rings or bracelets - to fit virtually everyone's sense of style and budget.

1 - Chaotic beauty is what comes to mind when looking at the Gerard Yosca Necklace. Made of aged brass metal, it is interestingly accented with a brass leaf, crystals and pearls; a silver metal bird with yellow crystals and a dangling pearl; a stone pendant and a brass snake with crystals eyes and a dangling bead. It sounds and looks like there is a lot going on that initially would not work well, but it is so mismatched that it matches - strange how that works. It hangs at 19 1/2" and uses a revolving clasp as a closure. Price: $165.

2 - Bring the holiday spirit into your outfit by adding these Mallary Marks Earrings. Made of 22kt yellow gold, extra long coral stones and accented with ruby briolettes, these dazzling and vibrant earrings are festive enough for the holiday office party yet understated so that they could be worn on the more casual days when you want to add a touch of chic. 3 - Lockets are not only beautiful in their own right, but they certainly top the list of "Best Gifts." By enclosing a picture within the locket, it serves as such an unexpected surprise for the receiver and adds such sentimental value. I received a locket many years ago and cherish it dearly. 4 - For the little girl that lives in every woman's heart, the Princess Hello Kitty Ring is the perfect compliment. Made of diamonds and pink rhinestone upon a silver metal setting, this would be such a fun accesory to recieve for the holidays. Who says jewelry has to be so serious? However, it looks like this type of fun will be costly.Price: $2800.

5 - This Engraved Cuff doesn't scream out feminity, but it defiently has presence. Add some spunk and take a typically womanly outfit off the beaten path by pairign it with this accessory. It's made of bronze and beautifully accented with engraved floral detailing. I find the beaded edges are able to complete the look well and adds a sense of balance. It measures at 2 1/4" H and has an adjustable width. Price: $830.

6 - Paloma's Sugar Stacks Ring looks very yummy. Of course I wouldn't try and eat, but if there was a Jolly Rancher of that color, I would be a happy girl. I would be an even happier girl if I found this under the Christmas tree. The stone is rubellite weighing at a total of 8.00 carat set in 18k gold. This would be a great cocktail ring or a colorful yet elegant right hand ring. Price: $5,500.

7 - Looking for the perfect gift for the teacher in your life? Don't go with the typical gift of a shiny red apple - instead, try the Kenneth Jay Lane Apple Pendant Necklace. Made of black perspex, which is a thermoplastic acrylic resin, it is accented with diamonds to create the leaf. The apple pendant hangs from a gold chain measuring at 18.5 inches long. Price: $100.

8 - Although pretty pricey - ok - extremely pricey ($3,900), the Aaron Basha Charms are probably not what you would first think of to give a child, it would be a pretty cool gift. Made of 18k white gold with light blue and navy enamel, the diamond bow adds the touch of sparkle to complete the look. Aaron Basha's Charm are fun, charming and made for the kids of all ages.

9 - The contrasting yet balanced look of the Vintage Walnut Bib Necklace by Nabi is so striking and eye catching that you can't help but notice it. Made of laminated Japanese walnuts and green stones, the earthy look set against a thin gold chain only adds panache to an elegant necklace. It has a rich look that is not reflected in it price ($188).

10 - The Double Oval Drop Earrings by Misha New York would be perfect to party in the New Year. They are made of vermeil, amethyst and garnet stones. Exquisite as it would be for one the biggest parties of the year, it would be just as suitable for work or a casual day that still needs a hint of femininity and fashion forwardness. Measures at 2 1/8" L and 1/2" W. Price: $85.
