Sands Point, Estate of the Day

Can it be true that we haven't visited Sands Point for an estate of the day since May? Let's rectify that by taking a look at this huge over 12,000 square foot home in the pricey New York town. This eight-bedroom home sits on nearly three acres and has beautiful water views. The exterior is a rather standard Mediterranean but the interior reveals a bizarre fantasy of luxury. This is the first time I have ever seen a ceiling that is both muraled and coffered (and not once but twice). The home has a massive indoor pool, beautiful glass seating area. It is listed at $15.9 million. After the jump, a glass sitting room with a fabulous view.

Thank you so much for the property, it looks great. I am trying to save some of the pictures of this property, it is on the Sotheby website and not on Luxist, but their Flash is not letting me. Can you please let me know how you saved the images?
