Once in a while, I come across a handbag that is so hideous I cannot resist writing about it, despite the fact that I am usually only looking out for attractive bags. The last time this happened, I wrote about the
Swamp Thing-inspired bag from Toos. This
Fox Fur Bag by Renaud Pellegrino (orig.: $5,095, sale: $3,566) is worse. Fur bags are fine, especially in the winter, when they're tastefully done, but it looks as though the designer completely forgot what to do with the hide once he had it. Anyone carrying this big will unquestionably look as though they are carrying a limp, dead animal with them - which is depressing, as well as unattractive.

Ewwww. Looks like roadkill. What, did the guy just slap dead foxes together with some crazy glue? OTOH, this does with one handbag what the loonies at PETA has been trying to do for years -- make fur accessories look evil.

Sounds like a PETA convention here. Regulated hunting is the biggest supporter of wildlife. Hell if it were not for the hunters more animals would be in more danger from the construction of civilization and loss of habitat.
However, I agree as a fashion statement the bag does look like a wadded up pile of fur.

The animal population is overpopulated? What about humans, when do they ever stop breeding? Have you heard of China or India. People are the problem, not animals. They don't kill for fun and fashion, we do.

I think the guy who made this bag just collected furballs from his cat and called it fox fur to piss off the animal activists for being so annoying.

Why would anybody choose to accessorize with a dead animal when so much bad light has been shed on the fur industry throughout the world? Real fur is no longer necessary -- there are many great alternatives that don't require an animal to lose it's life over something so vain. Disgusting.

I say lets keep the human population down. Biggest pests on the planet, only fuelled by selfiness and greed. We never evoled, we are still beasts.

Instead why not make a human skin bag, kill a couple of people instead. Torture fashion designers instead, much more fun that way.

I have nothing against fur, in fact, if I could afford it I would love a full length mink coat. But the bag is question is Ugly with a capital "U". I wouldn't have it if someone gave it to me for free!!!
