Limited Edition Lamborghini Nokia Phone

Partnering with Lamborghini, Nokia has just designed a limited edition Nokia 8800 Sirocco phone that is ideal for the Lamborghini owner who wants to match his car to his mobile. The stainless steel phone casing is etched with the Lamborghini logo and the words "Automobil Lamborghini." To further the theme, it also includes Lamborghini wallpaper graphics, engine-inspired and a short video documentary about the cars. The tri-band GSM phone has a screen of scratch-resistant sapphire coated glass, a 2-megapixel camera and 128mb internal memory, as well as an mp3 player, xHTML browser, email, Bluetooth connectivity and a hands-free speaker. Only 500 will be produced and they will be exclusively available at selected Lamborghini dealerships.

Nokia has surpassed itself. I'm overwhelmed with the sapphire coated glass. :)

Nothing to be overwhelmed about. Sapphire crystals have been used widely in watch industry for ages, it only seems natural to extend fine materials to electronics. Not everyone can do it with good taste, but Nokia did a good job.
I'm glad they opted for the coated glass instead of using a monocrystal sapphire, rendering it more affordable, even though sapphire crystal is really not that expensive to begin with.

Beautiful product and according to the specifications mentioned here, it seems to be a good phone as well.
Nevertheless, this association of brands is making products a lot more interesting. Motorola and Dolce Gabanna, Acer and Ferrari etc.
My best regards.

Jennifer: Nothing to be overwhelmed about, watch companies have been using sapphire crystals for ages, seems only natural that quality materials find their way into electronics (albeit not always with such good taste). Coating the glass makes it more affordable than using monocrystal sapphire while giving it good protection against scratches.

How much does this cell phone cost? The world's most expensive phone right now cost about 1.3 million dollar. I am wondering whether this phoen can beat this price mark.
