Payson will create an custom necklace with any phrase you want on silver, platinum or a variety of golds (white, yellow, pink or green). The text can be done in either the loose handwritten style shown here or iin a typewritten style or in a variety of different fonts. Prices start at $76 for the sterling silver version to $1,210 for your words in platinum.

This is a wonderful necklace and an even more spectacular gift! Thanks for posting it...and, Payson is quick to answer and seems to be able to make and ship very quickly...she is very nice.

or you could get the same effect with a $5 piece of silver and a nail. Scratch in the letters, soak it in hydrogen peroxide and vinaeger to oxidise it and then polish the surface so that only the deep scratched letters stay black. (or use a broken typewriter and a hammer for the "typed look")

This is a great piece, but go to her web site and you will be blown away...very interesting concept - she and we together will be designing my next "right hand" ring and new "wedding bands" when we renew our vows...also, our gay friends are using her to create their "dream" rings to honor their relationship...Neat! Sue
