(Red) is a charitable effort that is designed to raise money for the Global Fund to support HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention, especially in underfunded and underprivileged areas of the world. Armani is one of the designers participating in the program and his newest addition to the Armani Red line is an Inspi(Red) Watch. The watch has a 43mm stainless steel case with a coin-raised bezel and a leather strap. The strap is available in either black with red contrast stitching or red with black (pictured). It is a unisex timepiece and has an extra-large numerical display for easy readability. It is available in all Armani stores and the retail price should be $225.

Yes, but I do wish someone would do a breakdown of what each company involved in the Red campaign is donating to Africa from their profits. I'm surprised there aren't more people up in arms about the fact that The GAP is only donating 50% of their *profits* from the sale of Red Campaign items, while at the same time raising the prices to insane levels - insuring a healthy profit for the company on those items. If corporate America really wanted to help Africa, they would donate 100% of their profits, and really make a difference. Am I wrong?

This is such a good cause. I just got my (red) iPod, and some of the things from the gap. This watch is quite cool, too.
I might have to pop up Michigan Ave. and pick one up.....

Im from Liverpool , England. Had my eye on the blackstrap version for 6 months now. Was just waiting on the right moment to purchase one of these beauties!! In England these watches start at £195 uk pounds which is close on $450. Came across one on a US Website and picked one up with shipping cost FOR around $240. Very happy with my research on this purchase. Waiting on delivery now. Very excited indeed. Good to know that i am also contributing some of my cash to a respectable charity. Rock on BONO , U2!!
