Brother Timothy Cabernet Sauvignon
Fabulous wine for a good cause, the Lasallian Education Fund, the West Coast Educational Foundation of the De La Salle Christian Brothers has announced the pre-sale of the first Brother Timothy Mont La Salle Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley. The wine was created by the Hess Collection Winery and made from the Mont La Salle Vineyard estate grapes grown at the site of the original Christian Brothers winery where Brother Timothy worked as cellar master for more than 50 years. The wine is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot, and was aged 22 months in French oak barrels. it is described as having soft tannins and hints of blackberry and cassis. The wine retails for $94 per 750-mL ($194 per 1.5 liter), and approximately 294 cases were made, including a number of large-format bottles. Order now through November 28 and receive a 10% pre-release discount. All proceeds benefit the Lasallian Education Fund which benefits low-income families who do not have access to a quality education.

Hi Deidre ! I read your blogs everywhere - I really love your writing..and I check luxist and sometimes tvsquad and read your blogs on a regular basis. I usually stick to the estate home blogs which I just enjoy 'dreaming' about. I thought maybe this is right up your alley - pictures galore, massive home...definitely should take a peak and maybe this is worth blogging...
