Okaeri Hanger
The Okaeri is a new take on the traditional design of a hanger. Instead of being tucked away in a closet, out of the line of sight, the hanger is mounted on the wall where it is easy to access and can be reidentified as a work of art. Obviously, it can still be used to hang coats and other articles of clothing, but the bar at the base of the hanger is much more accessible this way and can be used for hanging umbrellas, scarves, handbags or other items you may want to have near the door. No pricing info for these fixtures, but you can order them directly from the designer at the moment.

this is a great idea, but im sure this can also be a nice DIY project as well, all you need is a coat hanger, drill, and some polished nickel.

Nice reinterpretation!
I like the idea of using objects in a different way (or different place).
