Armand De Brignac is the New Cristal
After denouncing Cristal, the luxe drink of choice of rap artists for many years, Jay-Z was left with a tough decision as to which champagne could replace it as a sign of opulence in rap/music culture. It appears that the artist has decided to (unofficially) endorse Armand De Brignac now, featuring it in one of his new songs as "gold bottles with the ace of spades." It seems like a good choice based on the bottle alone.
Armand De Brignac has been produced by a family owned vineyard for over two hundred years and has only just started to be imported from France. It is said to have notes of flowers, citrus, dried fruits and brioche.

RE: "John......im your father. no one told you cause your mothers a ho. sorry"
Wow. You poor thing. That the best you can do? I see a failed public school in your past, and a deep-fryer in your future. Sorry ...
By the way, I notice you didn't have the stones to use your real name. Again, so sorry ...

'stead of lookin for the next bling champagne to show off with, why doesn't The Big "Z" take a look around this fallin-apart world and try to do some good with his money? bet some of our brothers and sisters in New Orleans could use the money he is spending on food or shelter instead. yeah baby, we all from the hood huh?...him & his girlfriend ought to be ashamed of themselves the way they flaunt it

Here is the real problem, white corporate america capitalizes from African American culture, and then denounces it at the same time. They reap the profits from faux promotion of hip-hop culture and after cashing in on the check, turn around and denounce the culture that gave them their accolades in the first place. Prime example, 50 cent writes the rap and perform the song, Dr. Dre produces the music, however Jimmy Iovine of Interscope who does nothing, capitilizes by receiving the majority of the profits. The hip-hop culture needs to capitalize off of itself. Hip -Hop artists should only market and promote their own products.

actually this entire comments section seems very adolescent to me. as a teenager myself i dont particularly care for Jay-Z as a rapper but as a business man he has my respect. to "donna dawn" you must still live in the 80's and 90's because most kids dont dress like that anymore. it was a phase and its now out. more than likely your white so you would hate the thought that af. americans clothes cost more than your rent. and yes all our bills are paid. [most of the time] and most rappers are actually educated so that they can go farther in the rap industry without having to worry about someone taking cuts of their profits. so before you make a judgement on someones profession of choice, look at yourself. i put any amount of money on the fact that you drink Mad Dog 20/20 or Steel Reserve. You probably couldnt even afford Jose Cuervo Gold.
And to john, you obviously dont understand the reason behind some childrens choice to drop out of school. its not cribs its not MTV or BET, its society. they are cutting the funding on school programs and kids arent getting the help they need. so before you put it on kids. talk to George W. about why so many kids drop out
Sometimes adults can be so clueless to society...

My biggest beef about this is that ALL celebrites get most of that stuff for FREE!!! I can almost bet that most of the cloths, shoes, bags, jewlery, sunglasses, and bottle of booze you see famous people with are GIVEN to them. For promotion, so WE can go out and spend OUR money one them. I find it highly annoying!

Who cares what Jay-Z drinks he needs to be worried about his new CD. The first single was so-so, has he run out of Biggie lyrics to steal????

Magicsong, WOW you are so ignorant to the entire situation. its sad that you dont realize that jay and beyonce both gave money. it seems to me as though someone is "hatin" on them. i bet you have no g/f and no money. and the reason he looks for a new champagne to endorse is because he is a business man. think about it and figure out what that means... dont get it yet?? INVESTMENTS. sometimes i wonder why a young adult my age seems to know more about some subjects than adults.

Wow! Everyone made some really great points and expressed their views very well. Freedom of speech you have to love it! I agree with John, Rob and a comment Bid made.
Why are we so concerned about material things when there are clearly so many other things we can devote our energy on like homelessness, aids crisis, gang violence, child abductions etc.

If you think this champagne is superfluous, I recently started purchasing a champagne, the true name of which would take you 1 billion years to say fully in our simple human tongue, made from the tears of a thousand virgins, with a hint of unicorn blood and just enough sweat from the underbelly of a komodo dragon, to cost 60 weeks worth the annual median salary of chief Microsoft executives.. but the beauty of it... I don't drink it. I simply use it to hand wash my solid diamond house that I had carved out of a single gem the size of my solid gold Rolls Royce. It's a dog house for my one of a kind shitbull... a shitzu pit bull mix.. with a hint of the mythical beast the griffin. Genetic engineering is a hobby of mine. Lets see Jay-Z put THAT in a video!

This comment is for John. You mention "The poor urban kids are getting bombarded onstantly with images and messages glorifying the many ways which they'll get to spend their millions once they become ... rap stars or NBA players." It's not only The poor urban kids as u mention it's also the middle class kids or the white spoil kid who want to become rappers or football players who want to spend their millions on bullshyt. Before you talk about a certain class of people look at others.

I FIND IT QUITE AMUSING HOW DONNA DAWN BENNET WOULD ASSUME JUST BECAUSE JAY-Z IS A RAPPER HE WOULD BE UNEDUCATED AND FOUL MOUTHED AND BE STEROTYPICALLY DRESSED IN PANTS THAT WOULD HANG FROM HIS ASS. DONNA THERE IS A LITTLE THING CALLED SITUATIONAL AWARENESS MAY I SUGGEST YOU DEVELOP SOME. IT'S OBVIOUS YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHO JAY-Z IS YET YOU FELT THE NEED TO WEIGH IN ON A TOPIC IN WHICH YOU HAD NO CLUE WHO THE SUBJECT ACTUALLY WAS. JAY-Z IS NOT KNOWN FOR BAGGY CLOTHES, NOR IS HE KNOWN FOR BEING FOUL MOUTHED AND CERTAINLY SINCE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE MAN YOU CERTAINLY WOULD KNOW NOTHING OF HIS LEVEL OF EDUCATION. SOMETIMES IT JUST BEST TO HUSH. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN YOUR TIME DONNA. JAY-Z NOT ONLY IS AN ARTIST BUT HE'S A RECORD EXECUTIVE AND A BUSINESSMAN, OWNING 2 VERY TRNDY CLUBS 40/40 AND A VERY SUCESSFUL URBAN CLOTHING LINE.ROC-A-WEAR. HIS WHOLE PUBLIC PERSONA PROMOTES LIVING A LIFE OF LUXURY. AND YES DONNA THERE ARE INDEED BLACK PEOPLE WEALTHY ENOUGH TO DO SO. THAT MAN CAN CHOOSE TO DRINK WHATEVER BRAND OF CHAMPAGNE HE CHOOSES TO. HE'S AFFORDED HIMSELF THAT LUXURY. NOW WHAT PATHETIC FOLLOWERS DO TO EMULATE THE LIFESTYLE THE MAN LIVES IS NOT HIS CONCERN NOR SHALL IT BE. I'M SURE HE'S QUITE BUSY MANAGING HIS EMPIRE. NOT TOO BAD CONSIDERING YOU DEEMED THE MAN UNEDUCATED!!
