My father had a tradition in my family when you turn 14 you get a Rolex. I am 56 now and have worn My GMT master Rolex everyday of my life. Dad paid 150.00 for it. I will never own another watch for what is left of my life.

I think it is plain stupid to pay that much for a watch. I could use the money for a nice car or something more useful in my life. It is Fugugly for my taste. That could feed me for a whole year or pay my rent for a year or more. I know everyone has their own opinion.

The Cartier or Rado watches are not only better watches - but much better looking as well.

UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Titanium??? Is that the best they can do for that amount of money? What a joke! It's all about the profit, eh? Personally, I think it is an ugly watch. JMO And...I do agree with the comment about wearing that stuff and getting robbed. I only wear cheap stuff out, if any jewelry, which makes it a waste to even own expensive jewelry.

you have to be sick to spend that on a watch,, feed some family in your area,, make a poor child happy...
do something for your family,,,what are you on crack?, remember when they put you in that box wearing that watch and God asks you...what did you do with your wealth that I let you have?...oh boy your time will be running out no matter what watch you are wearing..

I don't particularly like this watch and it has nothing to do with what it costs. I like nice things and love my Omega watch, but this watch just doesn't do it for me

There are "A" watches and "B" watches. Rolex is a "B" Expand your horizons and obtain and any IWC which represents a "A" watch. One of their ultimate watches is a De Vinci,18 carat gold and 9 hands, one of the finer automatic watches made today. Even changes the year! Another Bruce

Before you buy this watch, sit and visualize the family living in a box under a bridge and give the money to a homeless shelter. The The good God in heaven will give you better times that you can gage with a $7000. watch.

I bought a Rolex in 1960. At the time, it cost me $50.00. Today the same watch sells for $4,000.00. If you like watches, buy the right one at the right price..........

Sorry, but if it won't make a cup of coffee, what good is it?
Nick Oct 27th 2006 3:22AM

.

Yeah, reeeeeaaaal ugly. Like, Cezanne or Braque ugly. Or anything that doesn't unfold in it's simplicity like the Sunday comics... "grunt -- me confused by new watch face, grunt, hrrrmmmb...look ugly too!". Rolex? Fine, sturdy watch no doubt -- but ever here of the term "Texas Timex?" Yes, sorry -- Rolex. Preferably gold. Tacky. Sounds like some people are just insecure of their tastes, or vague undertanding of a possible lack thereof. More ridiculous yet, I never thought I'd actually see the day when people talk about owning a Rolex like it shows they are some kind of pragmatic working-class heros.
