64-GB Flash Drive for Your Keychain
The problem with getting a nice external hard drive for your computer is that even the smaller ones are too big to fit in your pocket, not to mention that they need to be plugged in to a wall outlet to be useful. This tiny, keychain-sized USB drive from Buslink has 64-GB of storage, which might be enough to carry around the entire contents of your computer's main hard drive, if necessary, and more than enough room for photo albums and videos to share with relatives when you're traveling around during the holidays. You will have to pay for the convenience of its size, though. This little gadget is $5,740.

I'm working on my MBA and keep my thesis on a small version of this. I don't see me spending $5400 on this-- for that I can buy a new computer. But the flash drives are things I wonder how we did without.

you could get that much memory in sd cards for 1300, but who wants to carry aroumd 64 sd cards?!?

Carol,
Please tell me you are periodcially copying your thesis to cd's.
I personally would copy it to cd every so often and make a couple of copies.
Thumb/Flash drives can be very fragile items and CD's scratch.
Please don't rely solely on the flash drive as your only source to kee your thesis.

This is really convenient for anyone who travels a lot. No more taking your laptop with you everywhere you go, this USB drive can hold all you info and you can just plug it into any computer anywhere. I'm not sure if I would actually put it on my keychain though, as I tend to misplace my keys on almost a daily basis.
