RussNDC (poster of #15) is full of crap. Although most people can't seem to tell the difference in the voices of Lennon and McCartney the general rule with them was whoever wrote the song, also sang the lead vocal. So you say Lennon had very little to do with their music? Let's take a look at just one album and see which ones he wrote: On Sgt Pepper Lennon wrote and sang: Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite, Good Morning, A Day in the Life. Among others he wrote, Help, I am the Walrus, Strawberry Fields Forever, In My Life, Day Tripper, Norwegian Wood, Ticket to Ride just to name a few. But my real intention here was to mention that when Lennon bought this house back in the 60's he only paid about 40,000 pounds for it.
