John Lennon's House For Sale

The musically-related real estate keeps coming. The latest is John Lennon's former home in Britain. The six-bedroom home outside Weybridge, Surrey, is where he lived as the Beatles rose to fame. Lennon, his wife Cynthia and son Julian lived at the house from 1964 to 1968. According to the article in Bloomberg, in1968, while Cynthia was in Greece, Lennon brought Yoko Ono to the house known as Kenwood. Cynthia Lennon returned home to find Yoko in her house and wearing her bathrobe. Oh if these walls could talk. The home, which also has a playroom, sauna and swimming pool is up for sale for 5.95 million pounds ($11.1 million).

SHAME ON JOHN AND YOKO FOR HAVING AN AFFAIR IN THE SAME HOUSE HE SHARED WITH HIS WIFE CYNTHIA AT THE TIME.
THEY BOTH NEED SLAPPED ALONG SIDE THE HEAD FOR THAT ONE!! I NEVER KNEW THAT ABOUT JOHN LENNON. MAKES ME LOOK AT HIM IN A WHOLE DIFFERENT LIGHT... AND YOKO TOO FOR THAT MATTER. WEARING THE WIFE'S ROBE!!!! THAT JUST AIN'T COOL!!!!

Everyone knows Yoko and John were meant for each other. That she was and is his only real true love. Sorry Cynthia, you just faded in the haze, even in the beginning, you should have been there with your man, Yoko was , the whole time

John Lennon was a selfish ass. He lived his entire life doing what made him happy, and everyone else could go to hell. He deserted his first wife and child. Marriages do break up, but he was especially cruel in his treatment of Cynthia. He and Yoko were all, "Be peaceful and love everybody", but he and Yoko sure didn't treat Cynthia and his son that way.

It's truly heartbreaking anytime you hear of infidelity, it seems worse because we held John upon a pedestal..he was a true music genious, unfortunately he was also a man.As for Yoko...she was in the right place at the right time, shameful as it is.

john was a failure as a husband and father. he was typical of people who leave the ones who went through the lean times with them. i hope cynthia got a lot of alimoy! but he was a great singer and song writer.

where do you kids get your info? Cynthia NOT standing by her man? Cmon ..any of you ACTUALLY alive at the time The Beatles ruled? You need to get past your Entertainment Tonight mentalities

John Lennon was abandoned both by his mother and father. He was raised by a cruel aunt that had his dog put to sleep for punishment one time in his life. Perhaps he didn't know how to show love. Yoko Ono could have been a mother figure in his life

what a tramp Yoko Ono is and always was for that matter!!! John was no better. I don't care if they were meant to be together as you say. I guess misery does love company. i never could stand either one of them.

When people become rich and superstars when they are already married, it seem the money and fame changes them. Lennon was a great musician, but I tend to think
he was a little cruel to his first wife and son. May
he rest in peace.....

He cheated on Yoko, too. Not a nice man.

My opinion of Oko isn't a good one - recall the two edition story People magazine wrote when John died? The woman would raid the crap from a cat litter box and throw it in his path for John to step on as he walked down the hall - knowing he had this phobia to filth. My opinion is what goes around comes around - this couple was so screwed up it's pathetic. They deserved each other in a bad way. Note also Oko at one point got tired of John and hired another woman to be his sex partner for a period of time. John supposedly fell in love with her too - she was also Asian. The best thing John did for Cynthia was to leave. It is also my opinion the Beatles are overrated.

His "affair" with May Pang was a mutual agreement between John and Yoko, there is a lot of opinions flying around that have nothing to do with a person whose music brought such joy to our teen years. Before all the soap operas there was a band who made fun music. How can you really knock Lennon when we live in a world with the likes of 50 Cent?

John Lennon was never really a pleasant person. He grew up in a bad crowd and held one job his whole life...singer. It wasn't just his wife he ditched it was everything around him. Most of the last Beatle songs don't even involve Lennon...he never showed up to record. Lennon broke up the Beatles, Yoko made sure it happened. He then spent along time secluded in the Dakata doing heroin...now if those walls could talk. With this being said I don't think it takes away from the Beatles mark in music.

Number 14, what nonsense. And who is Oko?
