Com'on guys,
This is the biggest marketing hype that a grown man has to be exposed to.....a VENEER wooden box to hold cigars at a specific humidity level for $6,780 US, especially when the headline says solid walnut body! Handmade with silver accents doesn't warrent an exceptional piece. The name Bentley has stretched their exceptional handcrafted automobile reputation to justify a humidor worth 1/10th the advertised price.

Go back and READ the caption. The box is indeed made of solid WALNUT and in addition, it has a burled walnut veneer. If you know anything at all about burled walnut you would know how rare and costly it is and that you do not buy it in solid piece, rather it is always a veneer. When they find a piece of burl, they slice it into thin pieces and use it only on the finest furniture. Yes, the piece is pricey, but then again, the same person who owns one does not think twice about dropping more than that on some Cuban's that do not last. At least this box will last

Ok, so I'm in the furniture business (32 years). And, there is only so much you can do to a piece of wood, solid or veneered. After a point there is nothing you can do to warrant the price. Because after all it is still a piece of wood. To be honest I can get you a solid walnut dresser with walnut burl inlay for $6000. This humidor is ridiculously over priced. I, also , own 6 humnidors. (None near the 6000. price.)

I,ve built custom cabinets and custom furniture for over 30 years. The price is way out of line. I,ll make them just as good if not better for half there price & become a very wealthy man from the fools that would pay that kind of price. And add solid gold nameplate.

If I needed one of these it would mean that I'd become a fat-headed, bloated, lazy, cocky, self-important, fantasy-filled bigot totally out of touch with reality. That's what this symbolizes to me...the badge of honor of a lazy capitalist. Do you have to have lamb-chop side burns to qualify for one?

$6000 would buy a year of college for a disadvantaged youngster or orphan of a war veteran. Wouldn't that make more sense than buying a storage box for cigars?

Geez, over $6,000 for a desktop humidor. Your paying for the name obviously! As an online retailer of cigar humidors, we have none that come close to that price but will put ours up against the Bentley in terms of performance. Isn't that what counts....performance? And a analog hygrometer? You would think they would throw in a silver plated, Bentley logo digital hygrometer wouldn't you?
